Latest PDPA Update (2024 Amendment)
Malaysia passed the Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2024 (Act A1727). The amendment was gazetted on October 18, 2024, with phased commencement across January 1, 2025, April 1, 2025, June 1, 2025, September 1, 2025, and December 1, 2025.
